The event took place at the Huawei Exhibition Center in Hattisar, Kathmandu, bringing together over 80 key stakeholders from Nepal's energy, business, and industrial sectors. This program served as a platform to explore the potential of solar PV and energy storage solutions in transforming Nepal's energy sector.
“Nepal has great opportunities to shape the future of energy. By working together, we can implement sustainable solutions, reduce carbon footprints, and build a smart green energy system,” he said. Ashish Garg, Chairman of the Energy Development Council, stressed the importance of renewable energy in Nepal's industrial sector.
The technology aims to reduce carbon emissions and support Nepal's transition to a cleaner, circular economy. In his welcome speech, Jim Huang emphasized Nepal's potential for energy transformation. “Nepal has great opportunities to shape the future of energy.
“Nepal's industrial growth depends on energy efficiency and sustainability. Decarbonization through solar energy and storage solutions will drive this transformation. These innovations will help industries grow while contributing to Nepal's clean energy goals,” he stated.
